IVF treatment may vary depending on the person's condition and treatment choice, but usually takes a few months. Patients coming from abroad to receive IVF treatment in Turkey are required to spend an average of 21 days of this process in Turkey. We can explain the standard 21-day IVF treatment process as follows:

• Application: First, an application is made for infertility treatment. In this process, the doctor may ask for the tests and the examination findings that were previously carried out in the person's country in order to evaluate the health status and reproductive health of the person. If the information is not sufficient and up-to-date, some tests may be requested to be re-done in their country. 

• Hormone therapy: Before starting the treatment, the woman is given hormone therapy. This may include medications used to stimulate ovulation. Patients can start this treatment in their country before they arrive.

• Doctor's examination: After coming to Turkey, the person is examined by the relevant doctor and some examinations and tests can be done if deemed necessary. This is how the 21-day process begins.

• Egg collection: The woman's eggs are collected transvaginally under ultrasound guidance.

• Sperm collection: Sperm sample is collected from the man.

• Embryo formation: Egg and sperm are combined in the laboratory and embryo formation takes place.

• Embryo selection: According to the clinic, embryo selection is made on the 3rd or 5th day after fertilization.

• Embryo transfer: Embryos formed are transferred into the uterus.

• Embryo freezing: Any embryos that are not transferred can be frozen for future use.

• Ultrasound: After 8-10 days, ultrasound is performed and the development is observed after embryo transfer.

• Pregnancy test: 2 weeks after embryo transfer, a pregnancy test is performed and pregnancy is confirmed. After this, the patient can return to her country.

• Follow-up appointments: The woman now goes to follow-up appointments and ultrasound scans in her country to monitor pregnancy progress.
